I'll Never Forget You...

Life is never easy. Unfortunately all wonderful and Beautiful things must come to an end. Most of us pet owners in the world love our animals unconditionally. It is always hard when we have to say goodbye to a family pet and this time is no different... Many of you who know me know that I had an awesome St. Bernard named Polly. She was such a great dog. Over the last year or so she has been deteriorating in health and we knew her time with us would not be much longer. Generally big dog's do not live as long as she did but we took great care of her she made it 11 amazing years with our family.  Last night she had fallen and she was having a really hard time breathing. We decided to take her to the emergency vet and they had advised us that she was not doing well. After talking it over we decided that it would be best for her to be at peace. I have had a few pets over the years that we had passed and none of them had been this hard. This dog grew up with me all through high school. We rescued her from the pound from an abusive home. She was the best dog I had ever have the pleasure of knowing. We were blessed to have her here with us as long as we did. RIP Polly. I'll never forget you
